After travelling quite fast across Poland, Slovaquia, Hungaria and Roumania, we arrived in İstanbul the 4th of May. We travelled by train in Eastern Europe since it's the most convenient and faster way to travel
We really enjoyed İstanbul even if we didn't really feel abroad. İt remain a European city on all aspects (People, architecture, customs, etc.). Then, we've been to the Egee sea in Kusadasi (close to Ephese). We obviously visited Ephese's ruins. Thus, we definitively enjoyed sun bathing and swimming on Egee see. The water was still a little bit cold but we spent quite a lot of time in the water anyway. From there we visited Pamukkale before reaching the Mediterranean sea in Antalya. İt was so hot in Antalya that we spent most of our time at the beach :)
We've then been to Cappadocia. İt's definitively a great place with wonderful landscapes.
Currently we are in the Kurdish part of Turkey at Urfa. İts definitively really different and poorer than the rest of the country. İt's the first time as well that we have the feeling that we are not in Europe anymore... Therefore there are no tourist or almost anymore. We are going to spend the next 10 days in this area before crossing the Iranian border close to the Turkish city of Van
Since we are in Turkey, we used only buses. They are quite comfortable and there are even one stewards taking care of the passenger and two bus drivers in every bus. Drivers are quite careful and the road are mainly really good. Thus, it s really fine, even during the night, to use such transportation in Turkey
Commentaires sur cet article David And now the trip begins, be careful overthere, in Iran too, the president always feels like pissing off those stupide americans, he might succeed.
